Հռոմի Ֆրանցիսկոս պապը իր նստավայրի պատուհանից հնչեցրած աղոթքի վերջում անդրադարձել է Արցախում տիրող իրավիճակին, դատապարտել է եկեղեցիների թիրախավորումը։ Այս մասին հայտնում է Vatican News-ը:

The Pope praised the ceasefire agreed between Armenia and Azerbaijan for humanitarian reasons in order to reach a meaningful peace agreement. He called for a ceasefire, but noted that it was “extremely fragile”. The Pope noted that he mourned the loss of human life, the suffering suffered, as well as the destruction of homes and churches.
“I pray, I invite you to pray for the victims and for all those whose lives are in danger,” said the Pope.
